Introducing a new way to connect, interact with, and get more involved with NCAAHPERD! The new blog, Facebook Page, Youtube channel, and Twitter feed offer a variety of ways to receive and share information! Here’s a small snippet of what to generally expect from, (and how to use), our social media offerings:

Visit the NCAAHPERD Blog

KEY FEATURES NCAAHPERD’s "In Action" Blog serves as a compliment to our members-only newsletter. We publish new posts a few times a week. Here, you’ll find short, 2-3 paragraph articles or "blog posts" about recent and upcomming events, news, and opportunities to get involved. Content comes from the NCAAHPERD office. Most posts contain at least multimedia, such as pictures, video, polls, or links.

HOW TO GET STARTED Add the "In Action" blog to your favorites. Better yet, use the "email subscription" feature on the left side of the page to receive new posts via email!

TIPS

  • Leave comments to individual blog posts to provide feedback and start a discussion.
  • Stay updated with automated subscriptions Use the handy email subscription tool on the left side of the page
  • Check the blog frequently — there is always something going on!

Become a Fan on Facebook

KEY FEATURES
NCAAHPERD’s Facebook page needs you! Become a fan to view photos from past events and find information about upcomming ones, and connect with other NCAAHPERD fans. Fans are encouraged to "tag" themselves in NCAAHPERD’s photo albums to share your experiences with your own Facebook friends. Facebook fans also receive occassional information about the organizaiton on their own Facebook home pages, so it’s an effortless way to stay up-to-date on the organization.

Visit our Facebook page and became a fan — or click the green "Sign Up" button at the top to register for a Facebook account.

  • The Facebook Wall is YOUR opportunity to share news, articles, and other info to other NCAAHPERD members!
  • Encourage your friends and other educators to become fans
  • Already a fan? Show off your support and encourage others to become fans: Click here to add an NCAAHPERD fan badge to your profile!

Visit our YouTube Channel

KEY FEATURES
NCAAHPERD’s YouTube Channel offers video of NCAAHPERD events, special messages about upcomming opportunities, one-on-one chats with members, and other content. In addition, the FAVORITES AND PLAYLISTS links at the top of the channel provide a fast and easy way to watch video on a variety of topics, such as AHPERD news around the nation, things happening in North Carolina, and videos about physical education or dance.

HOW TO GET STARTED
Add the channel to your favorites. Better yet: Click the subscribe button on our YouTube channel page. You’ll be prompted to log-in with your Google/YouTube account, or create one. Creating a YouTube account is fast and easy. Once you log-in and subscribe to our channel, you’ll receive an occassoinal email when we publish a new video!

TIPS:

  • Share videos with coworkers, friends, or other AHPERD professionals. Learn how.
  • Subscribe to the channel to receive an email when new videos are published.
  • Create a free Youtube account and add NCAAHPERD as a friend!
  • Submit other videos to NCAAHPERD’s YouTube account for broadcast to the entire NCAAHPERD community!
